Yoga has been a constant part of Laura Anjali’s life for the past 16 years; she developed her practice through her travels around Asia where she absorbed various disciplines and techniques.
She started her practice in London where she was influenced by Yin Yan Yoga, Hatha, Anusara, Iyengar, Bikram, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga. After a year she started her yoga research around Asia: Osho and Buddhist Temple Practice in Nepal; Akhanda, Hatha, Kundalini and Mysore in India; Thai Massage and Hatha Yoga in Thailand and plenty of Meditation techniques along the way.
Travelling is learning and each culture added to Laura Anjali’s personal growth and knowledge. She completed her main teacher trainings in India with her guru Vishvketu (Vishva-ji) in the Himalayan village of Rishikesh.

Her classes have a meditative quality for students to learn to be present and practice being as fully alive as possible in each moment in everyday life and not just on the mat.
Laura Anjali enjoys being creative and experimental with her classes working with a variety of themes, ideas, different sequences and a range of postures to help students deepen their practice and understanding; she also introduces various techniques gathered through her studies of Thai massage and tai chi practice.
Her passion for dance and her background in ballet and contemporary dance lead her to developing Yoga Dance: a discipline which skilfully blends the two and also gathers techniques of free movements learned from the teachings of Osho and African Dance. All leading to an expressive sequence of yoga poses dictated by sounds and music.
Laura Anjali also started teaching yoga to children as a natural extension of her love for working with children. Skilled at engaging children’s creativity and imagination Laura Anjali makes classes fun-filled with animals poses and exciting adventures.
